Double $$ in a Month

You know there's that time of the month when you so badly want something but your bank balance is almost going to be empty? And then you whine in your heart..."bila duit nak masuk nie? I so want that bag...or...shoe...or eyeshadow...or bedsheet covers and the list does not end...

I remembered how desperately I wanted the Naked Palette by Urban Decay, but I just couldn't go into Sephora and grab it because it is expensive (RM175.00  to me is mahal k)  and it is not on my priority list. 3 months down the road, when I had enough money to buy it,  Sephora told me that it was 'OUT OF STOCK'!! Sedih giler!!! I was down the whole week and like everytime I lalu Sephora I would have that sad face... 

I would always tell myself "that its ok. I can wait the next month and the next month and the next month... until I decided to stop thinking about it! Money was always an issue at the back of my head...but it's not a major problem (and so I tell myself...in denial la katakan).

One fine day... Rezeki came knocking on my door. I thought this was the greatest opportunity ever. Premium Beautiful was the rezeki. After knowing about it I didn't look back and I didn't even hesitate!! I told myself "This is what I want to do!" I discussed with my husband and my parents and they were very supportive. Alhamdullilah I officially joined the PB biz somewhere end of April.That's a start of a beautiful journey of spreading and sharing the PB love and expanding the biz.

A Good Kick Start

Hi y'all its been a while since my last entry!! Sorry...was kinda busy with stuff and I was facing a major writer's blog (what I meant to say was writer's block!) Is there even such a word?  So everyday I would ask myself what to write? what to write? So I thought lets kick off with some words of wisdom!

P/s: if you're feeling down or facing a major problem... I hope this will help to boost up your energy level and bring in lots of positive aura...

Don’t be afraid to fail. Be afraid not to try.

Find your way to get results. Start with clear goals and the courage to follow where they lead you to.

Determine your priorities and focus on them.

Make yourself do the thing you have to do when it ought to be done, whether you like it or not.

My Series Of Falling...

 While I Grew UP

Fall into the drain

Fall on the staircase

Fall from a mango tree (I love climbing)

Jumped from the 1^st floor apartment where we used to live (was dared by a friend and I hurt myself badly)

Fall from a hill at the school field and hit my head on a brick (don’t worry I’m still sane!)

Fall in front of audience at a wedding coz I tripped onto my own dress (I was so embarrassed)

And the list goes on and on

The Effects

Having a sharp pain in the centre of my right buttock (since 2008)

The pain became severe and travelled to the toe (when this happened I could barely walk!!)

Not being able to put my leg on the ground (too painful)

Sleeping in certain positions may cause the pain

Can’t cross my leg

Can’t swim (breath stroke style)

Can’t bend down (while performing prayer)

Can’t sit on the floor too long

What Did The Doctor Say?

After the MRI test, I was diagnosed with

HERNIATED DISC

Or 

SWOLLEN DISC

Located at the Lumbar (lower back) area. The SWOLLEN DISC was pressing onto the nerves. That’s causing the pain.

He said that I should try to 

WALK LESS!!

SIT LESS!!

and STAND LESS!!

Like seriously how do I do that?  I was teaching at INTEC as a part-time lecturer at that time and a job of a lecturer is done standing or walking!! Wouldn’t it be weird to teach while sitting? I was given some medication (pain killer) to stop the pain. Did the pain go? YES it did! But only for 3 months. Once the medication finished, the PAIN came back! So I didn’t bother to see the doctor again…what was the point? He’s going to give me more pain killers and the pain would still come back.

I’ve also tried homeopathy. I took some of the medication for about 3 months and when I stop the pain came back again. So I had to be very careful with my daily activities.

The Activities I Should Try To AVOID!!

Walking too much (usually worsen my condition)

Carrying heavy things (students books, heavy bags, moving furniture…even my handbag has to be light)

Wearing high heels (for 2-3 hours at a wedding is enough. I’ll be suffering the next day)

Lie down while watching TV or reading a book 

Putting on weight (I’ve put on 8kg since I got married..NOT GOOD)

I have to sit down on a flat and hard surface. Soft and comfy once would lead to feeling the pain all over again. Usually I just bare the pain. I only take medication when the pain is severe and when I can’t take it anymore. Sleeping in an air-condition room especially when it’s raining doesn’t help at all.  To ease the pain I use hot water bag and I sleep on a flat ground sometimes.

THEN I MET PREMIUM BEAUTIFUL!! (PB)

I started wearing PB on April 20, 2012.  The feeling is good! Everything was in shape! Spare tyres? What spare tyres? My confidence level went up!! I could wear my old clothes!! Yeay… The first few days I wore PB there was NO BACK PAIN at all!! I could walk and run and jump!! But when I exert myself like carrying heavy things, I feel some strain but there’s no pain. Isn’t that AMAZING!!

My Verdict On The Miracle PB

I feel lighter

I have the right posture while sitting down (I don’t slouch anymore)

It’s very comfortable (even the material is not hot. It cools your body when you’re feeling hot and vice versa)

I eat less (no more munching in between meals)

I go to the bathroom everyday (used to go every 2-3 days…sometimes even constipation)

NO BACK PAIN

Oh and I LOST A FEW INCHES TOO!!

MONEY...a Necessity not a Choice

During college days, I remembered one of the discussions we had in class was...

" If you had to choose between love and money, what would you choose"

Without thinking I answered love! You can find and earn money anywhere...but you can't buy love. I was thinking you can survive without money but how do you go on living without the person you love.

I know... I know... I'm such a drama! Then later on I realised that in the REAL world you can't survive without money!! You need to put food on the table... you need money pay bills you need money for your childrens' education, insurance, medical treatment and savings for the future.

And you also need MONEY to buy...

laptop

smartphone

and the list goes on and on...

Living in Kuala Lumpur with an Executive salary is definitely not enough! Standard of living is very high and the income that I earn is not up to par! I would have to come up with a budget every month to make sure that my income is divided accordingly! I have to make sure that I would NOT spend my money on things that are not on my priority list. 

It can be upsetting at times! Especially when you have the desire to buy something but you know you have to pass or wait for the next month to keep a little more money to buy the desired thing. Then I begin to think..."How long is this going to go on? I need to do something to overcome this matter...but how?"
