My Series Of Falling...


 While I Grew UP

Fall into the drain

Fall on the staircase

Fall from a mango tree (I love climbing)

Jumped from the 1st floor apartment where we used to live (was dared by a friend and I hurt myself badly)

Fall from a hill at the school field and hit my head on a brick (don’t worry I’m still sane!)

Fall in front of audience at a wedding coz I tripped onto my own dress (I was so embarrassed)

And the list goes on and on


The Effects

Having a sharp pain in the centre of my right buttock (since 2008)

The pain became severe and travelled to the toe (when this happened I could barely walk!!)

Not being able to put my leg on the ground (too painful)

Sleeping in certain positions may cause the pain

Can’t cross my leg

Can’t swim (breath stroke style)

Can’t bend down (while performing prayer)

Can’t sit on the floor too long


What Did The Doctor Say?

After the MRI test, I was diagnosed with

HERNIATED DISC

Or 

SWOLLEN DISC



Located at the Lumbar (lower back) area. The SWOLLEN DISC was pressing onto the nerves. That’s causing the pain.

He said that I should try to 

WALK LESS!!

SIT LESS!!

and STAND LESS!!

Like seriously how do I do that?  I was teaching at INTEC as a part-time lecturer at that time and a job of a lecturer is done standing or walking!! Wouldn’t it be weird to teach while sitting? I was given some medication (pain killer) to stop the pain. Did the pain go? YES it did! But only for 3 months. Once the medication finished, the PAIN came back! So I didn’t bother to see the doctor again…what was the point? He’s going to give me more pain killers and the pain would still come back.

I’ve also tried homeopathy. I took some of the medication for about 3 months and when I stop the pain came back again. So I had to be very careful with my daily activities.


The Activities I Should Try To AVOID!!

Walking too much (usually worsen my condition)

Carrying heavy things (students books, heavy bags, moving furniture…even my handbag has to be light)

Wearing high heels (for 2-3 hours at a wedding is enough. I’ll be suffering the next day)

Lie down while watching TV or reading a book 

Putting on weight (I’ve put on 8kg since I got married..NOT GOOD)

I have to sit down on a flat and hard surface. Soft and comfy once would lead to feeling the pain all over again. Usually I just bare the pain. I only take medication when the pain is severe and when I can’t take it anymore. Sleeping in an air-condition room especially when it’s raining doesn’t help at all.  To ease the pain I use hot water bag and I sleep on a flat ground sometimes.


THEN I MET PREMIUM BEAUTIFUL!! (PB)

I started wearing PB on April 20, 2012.  The feeling is good! Everything was in shape! Spare tyres? What spare tyres? My confidence level went up!! I could wear my old clothes!! Yeay… The first few days I wore PB there was NO BACK PAIN at all!! I could walk and run and jump!! But when I exert myself like carrying heavy things, I feel some strain but there’s no pain. Isn’t that AMAZING!!


My Verdict On The Miracle PB

I feel lighter

I have the right posture while sitting down (I don’t slouch anymore)

It’s very comfortable (even the material is not hot. It cools your body when you’re feeling hot and vice versa)

I eat less (no more munching in between meals)

I go to the bathroom everyday (used to go every 2-3 days…sometimes even constipation)

NO BACK PAIN

Oh and I LOST A FEW INCHES TOO!!

So ladies…the reason I decided to wear PB was to heal my Back Problem and it has done justice for me!! My lifestyle has changed. I’ve become very conscious of my health and I intend to continue this healthy lifestyle!! So what are you waiting for??
